I’ve been laughing all day after something happened last night is so typical of Rob and me, I had to share it.
I was reading, and so was Rob; but in his case, reading means eyes closed, mouth slack, and book slowly, slowly tilting forward until it falls out of his hands. I decided I felt lonely, so woke him up. (Nice, I know.)
He’s usually pretty disoriented at first when I do this, so I decided to mess with him a little bit. I started speaking in fake Japanese. I must be good at it because he softly responded, “sheen jin jong…?” and I couldn’t breathe I was laughing so hard. [For more on Rob's brilliant mid-sleep utterances, read this old post.]
So we started to go back and forth, seeing who could carry on the longest fake-Japanese dialogue until laughter took over.
“Jing nao sun koi fish wasabi sashimi soy sauce!”
“I KNEW you were going to say soy sauce!”
“Tsao-li gong Ben Fong-Torres sushi Toyota!”
There is hardly anything that feels better than falling asleep with stomach muscles sore from laughter.

I always read your links from facebook so I decided to post on your actual blog today… woo hoo! Your pictures are adorable and your posts are always funny and well written! I love the layout of the blog and the fact that you and Rob are so happy and in love! Reading all this makes me miss you though! I don’t think I’ve seen you sine Mr. Pajcic’s funeral… How many years ago was that?! Maybe we’ll end up in Jacksonville at the same time some time in the near future. I hope so!
