Snow shoes… figuratively speaking.

Happy snow days! I celebrated by making altogether imbecilic footwear choices:

[Paul & Joe Sister suede fringed booties---surprisingly durable rubber sole that makes walking in snow a cinch. Available @Shopbop.com]

[Pour la Victoire Charlie brogues---zero traction resulting in much sliding and pulling of groin...again.]

[The immortal Prada boots + Falke leg warmers---also zero traction, but hyper-snuggly, so redeemed.]

[Aww.]

I cannot believe I’m going to be in Florida tomorrow… sans Robert. How sad, but awesome, while still sad.

Happy humpday from me and Eli, who managed to snag my tights on his top right fang this morning, which got caught while he was inflicting a swift chomp to my calf. This is what I get for wearing tempting, swishy layers and hurrying from room to room in the morning.

-Carey

[p.s. new Angels and Airwaves CD out for download now here. Been on repeat all day.]

Love the shoes, and jealous! I have always had a high instep so my shoe choices are limited to clogs, lol, seriously!

Looking forward to your expose on that wine pic I saw you tweet last night!

You know it! And that was the sad irony of that day… all dressed up and no photo. It was just a grey t-shirt dress with grey tights, black DKNY wrap sweater, missoni caftan, scarf… layers galore! We were photographed by BeautifulStranger.tv so maybe our feature will go up!

Ah ha ha ha! As soon as I saw the title to this post I laughed. I was going to send you a quick note after Valentine’s Day. First night wearing the Pelle Modas and I just about broke my ass. Took one foot out of the house, down one step into the garage and fell flat on floor. I still did make it to dinner but couldn’t even walk to car without Todd literally holding me upright on the snow and ice to get there. Why do we do these things?

P.S. Have a great time in Florida and I am seriously hating you right now. :)

You are kidding me. Flat on the floor!? Was it the snow that made you fall, or just the height? Jeebus, I still think I’m going to get them! My Mike + Chris leather shorts arrived today so I might need to slow it down for a spell… ;)

I’ve heard the weather sucks in FL but I’ll take what I can get!

I love the prada boots. Are they booties or tall? Is it snowing in Saratoga today? I have to drive through on my way to VT tomorrow.
