If the Target designer collaborations leave you reeling, than we’ve got good news! Calypso St. Barth is confirmed to create a limited-edition collection of fashion and home items for Target, set to launch May 1st in stores and online. “Calypso St. Barth is a renowned global brand with an incredibly loyal following and we think Target’s guests will love the no-fuss, sophisticated appeal of the collection,” Target’s senior vice president of merchandising Trish Adams told us exclusively. While no images are available yet, the collection will include clothing and accessories for women and children, plus home goods like candles, pillows and glassware. While the core Calypso offerings (above) can reach upwards of $800, the label’s Target pieces will be $1.99 to $79.99.

I’m a huge Calypso devotee, so this is probably the first Target collab I’m making nervous tinkles over. Check this out—when we were in zee islands last month, I made the pilgrimage to the mothership, Calypso Christian Celle St. Barth… on St. Barth! I browsed around (and came close to paying 68€ for a necklace made of pom pom trimming. Rob vetoed) then snapped these to commemorate:

Don’t get me started on the caftans. And if they do any Moroccan floor poufs in this collaboration, I’m buying every single one on the premises. Then I’ll cover our living room floor with them. And walk on them while I recreate this scene from The Golden Child.

i’m pretty excited about this, too. i have some calypso jack rogers from yesteryear that I still break out at the beach on occasion (don’t tell anyone).
