Soave: not just for lovers anymore.

Soave isn’t scary—a mantra we’ve been repeating at the Barrel Thief since long before I arrived. “Another great Pinot Grigio alternative,” “If it was a Pinot Grigio, it would cost twice as much.” We’ve made many labels like this to showcase Soave wines as the next step in an “if you like this, you’ll love this” progression. Often fleshy and rich with focused minerals and acid, it’s an indisputable formula for refreshing, food-friendly wines that make friends for life. Focusing on one of our favorite Soave producers, Pieropan from Veneto, Italy, the New York Times says it better:
