Native American garments at the VMFA in RVA.


“If you had those little booties, would you wear them? Or just keep them and display them.”

Man, were they hip to the cool garments. The forefathers of fringe. Beautiful installation in the VMFA, too, with curving wood slat walls in a peaceful corner upstairs. Visit it if you’re in the Fan.
