Another Oregon wine harvest comes to a close.

We’ve got lots to catch you up on.

It was an amazing, challenging harvest out in Oregon this year; Rob has lots of stories and amazing photos to share when he gets back. [I will crack the whip on this, don’t worry.]

I have to say, as much as I missed him and want him back, I have to take myself out of this situation… on the reg. If you know what I mean. What he does out there makes him so happy. It’s hard to fervently summon someone back to you when they’re just killing it, following their dream. Because that’s amazing to me.

Where there’s a will there’s a way.

If you think about it, it’s a pretty spectacular story. He went from penning this blog for fun with me, to learning everything he could under the sun about wine… to writing things that got him this cool invite to come meet winemakers in Oregon one spring, and then we met Michael, and it was like things clicked. He put it all on the line for a harvest internship, and three years later, he’s this integral part of an amazing team out there. I mean, he did it. He went for it, and he did it.

It’s pretty inspiring, and all at the same time… can’t wait to have my best friend back.

See you tomorrow, Bo!
